You can even fit two 3.5 x 5-inch images on a single print. Choice of picture finish With the optional UPC-540 self-laminating print pack, you can change the finish on your pictures without changing print media. Add that final touch with a matte, gloss or textured finish by simply altering the way a fourth clear laminating layer is applied during printing. Continuous-tone printing Every individual pixel in your prints can be one of over sixteen million available colours. Unlike other printing systems that use a dithering method to produce different colours, the UP-D50 uses dye sublimation technology for continuous-tone printing. High-speed printing The UP-D50 can produce full colour images in less than 40 seconds when you use the UPC-540 self-laminating print pack. With the UPC-510 colour print pack, printing is even faster – just 30 seconds. Image spooling The image-spooling function enables a second image to be transferred from your computer while the first image is being printed. This reduces the total printing time, boosting your image output and, consequently, your sales.
