It is particularly useful as a desk microphone and is ideally suited for picking up speech, e. g. at conferences, interviews, theatre performances, lectures, etc. Power supply of the microphone is effected via the connected audio unit, i. e. the microphone input on the audio unit must be provided with a phantom power (9 – 48 V ). For connecting the audio unit, a 6m cable with mini XLR/XLR connectors is supplied with the microphone.
